Trolling, trolling and fishing from a boat requires you to be careful, have a life jacket and think about how you behave at sea. Safety is everything, before you start thinking about the details of the actual fishing. Also remember that trolling and trolling is not allowed everywhere.

Having the flotation suit on under båtfisket is an easy way to both keep warm and dry, and increase security.
Trolling Technology
To become an accomplished magician and learn to adapt rigs, speed, tactics and technology takes a long time. The best way to learn as much as possible is to go with some good trolling expert and take the opportunity to ask about everything. There is also much reading in fishing magazines, online forums and so on. We offer just a few simple tricks here.

Sonar is a vikigt tool for finding the fish on the large expanses of water. The curved black marks on the screen (they are usually called the banana!) Is a fish that goes in the water interlayer. The bottom is the black line above the gulrödblåa layer.
Find the fish
Exactly how to find the fish you’re after, you can read more about the section on various fish species. Each lake, or water, is special, so you have to learn the locations that are interesting to fish. And, as you know by now: a chart, sonar and GPS is very good tool for finding the right areas.
Fish zig-zag
If you move, move, or control over a particular area, you may want to run in zig-zag. When you turn not only changes the course, but also the speed and the depth of the bait is on.Variation can trap the decision! Also note that grazing speed and movement are affected much if you go against, or with the waves!
Overcharged the bait
If you want to get your bait to go deeper, you can experiment with rope length and speed. But you can also attach the weights on the line a bit above the bait. Use rubber bands, so you do not damage the line and can easily switch to lighter or heavier weights.

Canada trout caught on the wobbler with djupparavan that sinker. (Deep-mate van is the green thing that sits on the line in the upper right corner of picture) With deep mate van went wobbler down at 8 meters depth where the hungry canada trout swimming around.
Another great way to get the bait to go deeper is to attach a djupparavan front pasture. A djupparavan is a sinker that also strives down when you drive the boat forward. But when a fish bite the bait moved the anchor point for sunset the van of the fish tug on the rope so that the end aim down and easier to crank it up.
Use anchor
When you conjure it can be hard to get the boat going slowly enough. By hanging a sea anchor along the boat’s gunwale, you can take down the speed. A large “Ikea bag”, or a bucket can also work well, but the thought of attaching everything properly, so that nothing comes off and goes into the engine – it can mean death.
Rod holders
Rod holders are great both during transport and while waiting for the blow. There are many different models and some can be moved, so that you can not have your own boat can take with them when it’s time for fishing. Remember to adjust the roller slirbroms so that the line does not go off at a hard blow, or lows.
Flötestrolling
Northern pike, walleye and perch are the species that are exciting to fish floated with a bait fish. Dead bait works very well if you also move it in between. To row slowly with one or two floats dragging a piece of the boat is exciting. Remember that bait fish are raised in the water when you move. Slow paced and a little extra rope out there might be a good tactic.

A red marker is laid out next to the boat to mark a hot göstställe.
Markers
Topomarkörer are smart devices. If you found a ground state, or an exciting area that you want to fish a little more carefully, you can mark the edges, with markers. They can be purchased, or manufactured, for example by thick Styrofoam that you cut out as an “H”.Paint marker with a visible color and wrap around a sharp line and a sinker. When you release it into the water drop sinker to the bottom and your “H” rolls around and let out the line. If you then go away and fish somewhere else, you can easily come back and fish the area thoroughly, with the selection means.
Things that are good to have
Keep track of the boat, so it becomes more enjoyable, more efficient and safer. Here are some suggestions of things that you should have with you on board:
Life jackets - you should wear!
Fiskebox - or bag drawers – for all the little things, hooks, tackle and so on. A bait bucket where you can hang up feature you are currently using is smart.
First aid kit - great for all fishing trips, especially if you are far out at sea.
Radio - both a normal radio where you can listen to the shipping forecast and a VHF radio which you can call, or hear others calling is an important safety equipment if you are on a long voyage. Fully charged cell phone is also good, although there is coverage everywhere.
Pliers, scissors and razor - good to have close at hand.
Hat / cap - it is cold you need to have hot head. Is it sunny, you may have something to shade you. Please sunglasses too!
